Prediction markets are very effective at expanding my thinking.

It's so easy to be "sure that X gonna happen", that I can sometimes overlook all low-probability scenarios, and not analyze them carefully enough. Seeing that someone bets serious money on these improbable outcomes makes me re-think my priors.

It already happened when I looked at the odds of Biden not running for president, and I assume it's going to happen again.
